Premiere Edition Blu-ray of "The Humber - Danny Gatton" movie

Danny Gatton fans will not want to miss the feature length music documentary, "The Humbler - Danny Gatton".

Danny Gatton, “The World’s Greatest Unknown Guitarist,” combined jazz, rock, country, blues and rockabilly into dazzling mélanges of sound. A conflicted genius, Gatton was a humble man, yet his virtuosity humbled musicians far more famous than he. Gatton loved things made in the USA, and his awe and respect for U.S. culture and ingenuity can be felt with every note from his guitar.

A percentage of every sale goes to Jan and Holly Gatton.  Sales also support our work to ensure Danny's legacy.

The movie follows Gatton — traditional master as well as visionary stylist — as he and his guitar move seamlessly through disparate music genres.

Gatton tells his own story with help from his family, friends and musical colleagues who include Les Paul, Roger Miller, Vince Gill, Joe Bonamassa, Albert Lee, Jerry Douglas, Rodney Crowell, Robert Gordon and more. Other admirers include Eric Clapton, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Eddie Van Halen, Lou Reed and many more.

"This film - a multi-year labor of love...as a story of a man's life and a period of American social and musical culture is well worth anyone's time - not just those who play guitar."

Blu-ray is superior to DVD because
of its larger storage capacity which enables superior video and audio quality,
including high-definition (HD) visuals and lossless, multi-channel sound. The physical
design of Blu-ray discs also features a more durable coating, making them more resistant
to scratches and smudges than DVDs.
